Motor mounts are used to keep the engine in place and absorb energy from it. However, factory motor mounts often do little to minimize engine deflection, resulting in lackluster throttle response, slower reaction times, and less accurate shifts in cars with manual transmissions. BMR Suspension’s Polyurethane Motor Mount Kit (MM110) is built to reduce engine deflection and is designed for street performance, drag racing, and road racing applications. Please note:
• For hardcore drag and road racing applications where engine deflection needs to be eliminated, BMR Suspension recommends the MM006 Solid Upgrade or MM111 Solid Motor Mount Kit. The MM006 replaces the polyurethane bushings in MM110 and turns it into a solid motor mount. The MM006 and MM111 are designed for max-effort application where NVH is not a concern.
